A barrier, not a blanket
1,500 kg certified walkable barrier. Forms a solid, locked seal over the pool water surface to prevent accidents.
Up to 70% less heat lost
Eliminates evaporation, locks heat in the water, and reduces seasonal pool heating and chemical consumption costs.
Engineered longevity
Hydraulic drive built and tested in the UK. Sealed motor with guaranteed perpetual factory spare parts supply.
Mechanism by pool type
Where the mechanism sits decides the civil works, the aesthetics and how a technician reaches it in ten years. Pick the arrangement your pool allows. Section diagrams, not photographs. The geometry is the information.
Top mechanism, flat track TOP · FLAT TRACK
The roller sits visible at the pool end and the canvas runs on a flat track fixed to the deck. The simplest arrangement PoolLock builds.
- Advantage: No pit, no structural work. The cover can be added to a finished pool.
- Advantage: Every moving part is reachable without lifting a lid.
- Advantage: Lowest installed cost in the range.
- Disadvantage: The roller is part of the poolside view and cannot be hidden.

Top mechanism, pocket track TOP · POCKET TRACK
Same visible roller, but the track is recessed into the coping so nothing stands above the walking surface.
- Advantage: Nothing to trip on: the track sits inside the coping line.
- Advantage: Cleaner sightline along the pool edge than a flat track.
- Disadvantage: The coping must be cut or specified with the recess in advance.
- POOL TYPE
- Skimmer · straight sides

Top mechanism, top track TOP · TOP TRACK
The track is mounted on the coping surface. Used where the coping cannot be cut and the deck cannot be lifted.
- Advantage: Fits existing pools with stone or tiled coping, without civil works.
- Advantage: Track and roller can be removed and the pool returns to original.
- Disadvantage: Track is visible and stands proud of the coping.

Disadvantages are stated because they decide the specification. If access matters more than the sightline, say so before the pit is poured.

The same layout carries both covers
Identical modules, identical hierarchy, identical calls to action. The pages differ only in their values. The manual cover is the cost-effective entry to a secured pool, not a lesser product.

Safety
A closed PoolLock cover forms a solid barrier over the water surface and is built to carry the weight of a child who walks onto it. A cover reduces risk. Supervision of children around water remains necessary.
